Stan the man.
I’m sure 95% of you have seen the social post, read the X/LinkedIn breakdowns, seen this story covered pretty much everywhere. But we must share that, yes, no one had a better week on social than Stanley. In short:
-A video goes viral that shows a post-car-fire scene, everything burned to a crisp except the owner’s Stanley mug (ice still frozen inside to boot)
-Stanley’s President responded to the post and offered to replace the owner’s car, and managed to (and we all know this can be hard for CEOs and Presidents of big companies) come off as a normal human who might be able to tell you what a gallon of milk costs. Or what his kid’s names are.

Stanley gained over 300k followers on TikTok as a result. Big win.
Snoop blew smoke.
Snoop dropped this social post that went viral last week.
Most of the people reading this email probably had more than a hunch that there was more to this. A lot of people I talked to though an edible brand was coming. The word “smoke” was just too vague.
And then today, come to find out it was in fact an ad. Not for edibles, but for Solo Stove’s smokeless fire pit things. Bravo. Here’s Stuff About Advertising’s explanation.
By the way (this is not an ad just thought it was cool), I just joined a Discord with Ashley from Stuff About Advertising and she’s recently created some Concepting Drills that creative newbies on this list will really dig. To get the full pack of 5 drills, visit her Etsy. Or, go Costco-style and try a free sample.
The Boyz are back with baby backs.
Bit of a mouthful there. To celebrate Chili’s famous Baby Back Ribs jingle more than 25 years after it entered the zeitgeist, Boyz II Men released their own rendition of the jingle aptly titled "I Want My Baby Back." It slaps.
What a waste.
This quick spot from Vestiaire Collective is going viral on TikTok and other social channels. Really creative.
But also, what a shame.
We’ve all done it. You sit down with a fresh pizza pie or a little Chinese food, order yourself a tall glass of milk, and everyone at the table starts making fun of you immediately. Saying you’re, “such a weirdo”, “who invited this guy”, and “wait a minute you’re not with our party, GTFO of here”.
It’s time to stop the stigma. Queen L has your back.
Alrighty that’s more than enough from me. If you spot an ad you love and want a little shoutout in the newsletter, just respond to this email or connect with me on X and shoot me a DM. I’d love to feature more of this community.
