Shark Tank (Ryan’s Version).
Ryan Reynolds is at it again, and we’re not talking about his Sunday Night Football appearance in New York with his partner Blake Lively and her bestie, Taylor Swift.
During Friday’s Shark Tank premiere, Deadpool himself (okay the actor who plays Deadpool but basically Deadpool) appeared on Shark Tank to promote MNTN, his ad tech company that helps brands optimize their TV media buying.
I guess MNTN/Reynolds figure that startup owners who watch The Tank (that’s what the cool kids are calling it) would be open to its tools for buying ads.

Shake it off.
After a pretty incredible heat wave in the UK in early September, we saw a great OOH ad hit the streets. The melting billboard featuring minimal branding and a bit of a Strawberry Shake is becoming somewhat familiar for McDonalds, who have leaned into their recognizable-ness of late with agency Leo Burnett.
In case you missed this ‘raise your arches’ spot, it’s a great example of what they’ve been up to.
Blank space.
What do copywriters do when they’ve got a blank space in front of them and can’t think of anything?
They let you have it your way, apparently.
Mikey Robinson, Senior Creative at Gymshark shared this collection of uninspired copy on LinkedIn yesterday…and not a Burger King ad in sight!

That’s how we feel when we look deep into the pixels of the Las Vegas Sphere. After opening just a few weeks back, ad rate prices have just leaked for the $2.3B Sphere at The Venetian Resort. Does anyone have an extra 450k I could borrow? The rates break down to:
$312 per minute. $18,750 per hour. $450,000 per day.
According to Joe Pompliano’s Huddle Up Substack, estimates are that the dome will have 4.7 million daily impressions with 300K in person and 4.4M on social.
Targeting? Pretty limited, I presume. The “people who’ve shown an interest in visiting Las Vegas” category is locked up, though. Here are a few examples.
Double-check your spelling, you definately don’t want to mess up a half-million dollar ad.
